Decathlon’s ‘No Tent Left Behind’ Campaign Promotes Sustainability at Festivals

This festival season, Decathlon is launching an innovative initiative aimed at reducing waste and promoting sustainable festival experiences. The “No Tent Left Behind” campaign showcases the complete range of Quechua MH100 tents, encouraging festival-goers to engage in responsible outdoor activities while earning rewards for their contributions.

A Commitment to Sustainability

The “No Tent Left Behind” campaign, endorsed by prominent figures such as Jo Whiley, a well-known Radio DJ and Television Presenter, seeks to highlight the importance of sustainability at festivals. Whiley stated, “Decathlon’s ‘No Tent Left Behind’ campaign serves as a valuable reminder for festival-goers to enjoy their experience sustainably. Additionally, participants can earn rewards to further enhance their festival experience.”

Campaign Mechanics

This summer, festival-goers can participate in Decathlon’s initiative by purchasing an eligible Quechua MH100 tent between June 6, 2024, and September 13, 2024. After utilizing the tent for their festival experience, participants can return it to any Decathlon store by September 13, 2024, in exchange for a gift card equivalent to the tent’s purchase price.

Advantages of the MH100 Range

The Quechua MH100 tents are specifically designed to meet the needs of festival-goers and offer several key benefits:

Affordable and Lightweight: These tents are budget-friendly and easy to carry.

Compact Design: They are convenient for transport to and from festivals.

Blackout Technology: Selected models incorporate this feature to ensure a restful night’s sleep after a day of festivities.

With approximately 250,000 tents abandoned at festivals each year—most of which end up in landfills—the “No Tent Left Behind” initiative aims to significantly reduce waste and promote environmental stewardship among attendees.

How to Participate

Engaging in the “No Tent Left Behind” campaign is straightforward:

Purchase a Tent: Choose a Quechua MH100 tent from Decathlon between June 6, 2024, and September 13, 2024.
Enjoy the Festival: Use the tent during the festival and pack it up afterward.

Return the Tent: Bring the tent back to Decathlon with proof of purchase by September 13, 2024, to receive a gift card equal to the tent’s purchase price.

Through this initiative, Decathlon aims to foster a culture of sustainability within the festival community while providing festival-goers with an opportunity to make a positive impact.
